Terms of Service
Effective July 3, 2026
1. The service
PNTR provides free subdomains under domains we operate (such as pntr.dev), DNS record management, a disposable email inbox, and integrations (CLI, API, MCP). The service is provided free of charge, as-is, with no uptime or availability guarantees.
2. Your subdomain
Subdomains are allocated first-come, first-served. You get use of the name, not ownership of it. Subdomains created without an account are tied to your browser session and may be lost if the session expires. Signing in with GitHub ties subdomains to your account. We may reclaim subdomains that are inactive, violate these terms, or conflict with reserved or trademarked names.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for:
- phishing, impersonation, or brand abuse
- distributing malware or operating command-and-control infrastructure
- spam, bulk email abuse, or mail relay abuse
- anything illegal in your jurisdiction or ours
We remove abusive subdomains and may ban the associated accounts without notice. Report abuse to [email protected] or via GitHub issues.
4. Email inbox
The inbox is for disposable use — testing, verification codes, temporary communication. Emails are deleted automatically after 48 hours (90 days on Premium). Do not rely on it for anything you can't afford to lose.
5. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your subdomains at any time. We may suspend or terminate the service (or your access to it) at any time; where practical we'll give notice before discontinuing the service entirely.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for damages arising from its use or unavailability — including lost traffic, lost email, or reclaimed subdomains.
7. Billing
PNTR Premium is a paid subscription billed through Creem, which acts as the merchant of record. Prices are shown on the pricing page. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in your account settings, and access continues until the end of the current billing period. For refund requests or any billing questions, email [email protected].
8. Contact
For support, billing, or legal questions, email [email protected].
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. See also our Privacy Policy.
